It gave us a subversive parkour fantasy ( Mirror’s Edge), a charming Brit-fantasy romp ( Fable II) and a superlative murder-mystery ( Persona 4). Bottom line: More nostalgic than innovative, but fun nonethelessįallout 4 wants us to remember what it felt like to play games in 2008.The bad: A lot of recycled ideas, fiddly crafting interface. The good: Great story (once it gets rolling), solid gameplay, stirring open world.
